Christmas Angel Project

We would love your help with spreading some joy at Christmas.

The Christmas Angel Project provides gifts to disadvantaged young children as well as the often forgotten older children and teenagers.

KOGO receives many beautiful hand knitted toys during the year, which is how the Christmas Angel Project began in 2012. From those initial knitted toys donated for babies we are now able to purchase gifts with funds provided from our supporters and donors.

In 2019 we wrapped and distributed over 4,000 gifts to children and teenagers living in difficult circumstances, including many who have been affected by drought in rural areas.

In 2020, we were unable to have our Christmas Angel Pack and Wrap Day due to COVID restrictions. With the donations we received, we purchased gift vouchers for St Kilda Gatehouse, Mirabel Foundation, Kids Undercover and Igniting change. We also donated toys to other charities supported by Foodbank, Victoria.

We live in unpredictable times, yet we remain committed to the continuation of our Christmas Angel Project. We are exploring new and innovative ways to support our Community Partnerships in 2021 by adapting and reassessing the changing needs of those around us.
